Post Abortion Resources

It is normal to have a wide range of emotions after a termination and how you feel may depend on the circumstances in your life. Although relief is the most common feeling reported by women (and their partners)- some individuals may feel a sense of loss, guilt, anger, or even happiness after. Remember you were the right person to make the decision that was best for you.  Trust yourself.

After an Abortion

Depending on the type of procedure, most women can return to their routine activities the following day. It is normal to experience mild discomfort (cramping) or light bleeding/spotting anywhere from 3-8 weeks after an abortion. In addition, pregnancy tests often time remain positive for several weeks after having an abortion. If you are experiencing any concerns after a recent abortion, please contact us at 253-471-3464.
